Artist Statement

 

Art, to me, is a journey of discovery—an exploration not of chaos, but of controlled experimentation. Each painting is a deliberate process, combining physical materials with an intention to evoke emotional responses. My work is a study of how art can influence the viewer’s perception and feelings. Often, I incorporate textured elements into my pieces, using them to enhance the themes and concepts behind each work. Drawing inspiration from my studies in psychology, my art delves into the complexities of the human mind, examining both its fragility and strength through a visual language that invites introspection.

Artist Biography

 

 

Victor DiPilato is a South Florida-based professional artist known for his versatile approach to painting, which spans from photorealism to abstraction. His distinct abstract style, which he calls fractured expressionism, often features broken or shattered visual elements that mirror the themes explored in each piece. Through this technique, he conveys emotional and psychological depth, reflecting both personal and universal human experiences.
